My1989 888 / 851 has the M1R,s and I have no problems with them , I did notice in France that they dive a bit under really heavy braking but I've done nothing to them since buying the bike , so a rebuild and new springs are probably needed . I was thinking about going USD but if I'm honest its more for looks than trying to improve anything as the bike tracks through corners as if its on rails and even hitting bumps mid corner does'nt upset it :cool: |

ah........see where your coming from now. Just checked registration doc and bike was registered march '93 - 888 strada. My apologies for confusion and also for inadvertantly hijacking this thread. Back to original topic, Phil_h hope you get the bike your after Alan... |
