Oiy..........I resemble that!.............ive unfortunately had to be in the hostlilty suite at the rugby................hic! Anyway...........Ive been there done that....tried it a bit taller.......i did like it! im now with a grippier Ducati foam seat........having had my suspension done. |
I have a high seat, Ducatis own, there right about lowering the bars, but I did it for the comfort, my one is now ripped and I took it off to send it back, I went for one ride with the original seat and had to put the ripped one back on, how you put up with the original seat is beyond me. :flame: :burn: :burn: |
plus you need wider bars............. |
I had one of Pro Twins seat's which I sold with an HCRactech GP unit. It is good for the track, it raises you about 11 or 12 mm and you do notice the difference. I tended, as I say, to keep mine attached to the whole seat unit so I could switch it over in about 10 mins. For normal road use I normaly kept to the standard seat as I found the raised one put more pressure on the wrists. Only my experiences ofcourse, it probably also is different depending on your hight and length of back. I am 6'1". kp |
I've now got KP's seat. I'll take a pic in a little while... |

Not with a 2 1/2 hour ride either way :) |
I rode KP's 999 with the higher Pro-Twins seat on & cannot see the point of it at all. What's wrong with the original seat/ seating position? |
3 Attachment(s) Here are some pics for the Pro Twins seat. I fitted it a couple of weeks ago and it does make a difference. The brakes are loads more responsive... I like it! |
