I do believe you are correct-although I think they are actually 3 different compounds not 2-hence the 'Corsa 3' name. I will probably try some on the twinspark once it's finished. John |
I'm about to buy some Diablo Corsa Sports for my 988S 190/50 ? Is this the right sort of tyre for me. 100-200 miles a week, some track days, mainly around London / Home Counties? Your comments please |
Personally Id go for the standard Diablo, its all the tyre you want for your commuting and trackdays, unless you ride like or have the skill's of Rossi you'll be throwing money and tyres away every few months. Im finding all this "sticky" this and "sticky that" all promotion ****,when you see people out on track on Avon Assaro's, a touring tyre and staying up with others on "sticky" race tyres it makes you think . Save you money. Use a tyre that will see your through the wet damp days of winter and be all the tyre you want in the summer. 4D |
On my S4R ive run the old corsas which were superb, but i'm currently running some metzeler racetecs (superb road and track grip) and ive gone up to 190 on the rear and the sterring doesnt seem to have been affected at all. |
Interesting post this one, not only do I not need the top of the line tyres but I save money as well, more of an ego thing to by the best tyres, when I wouldnt need them lol |
