Hi guys,

Just posting an update. Had my 999R collected for the service by JHP. Passed by last night to see how things were getting on and to see the place itself.

WOW WHAT A PLACE!!!! Had a look through the inspection window and saw my bike being worked on the first ramp I could see. To my delight I was given a guided a tour with coffee made by the man himself John Hackett and was introduced to his son Rick who was the technician working on my bike fitting the free alarm that I had chosen.

The wokshop was immaculate, all the staff were really friendly, I was even allowed to have a look in the engine room!!

Just can't wait to get the bike back and try it for one last time this year before she goes away for winter. I may even phone them up today to fit a JHP slipper clutch before it comes back to me.

I'll keep you informed when I get it back.

So you've been to the Holy Grail, and even had a conducted tour by the main man-well done, good choice(so would Cornerspeed have been by the way). I am sure John, Ric and the boys will look after your baby-didn't see my twinspark in the engine room when you looked in I suppose? Last time I looked it was in two plastic boxes......................
You reckon the workshop is immaculate-you should see the race shop at Whitemoor-now that really is something-what would I give to have a workshop like that in MY garden............

John
