Steve, can you post a pic of your machined clutch housing, Ive got one I could have done! |
1 Attachment(s) My clutch bling on my old 749s, not everyones cup of tea and most will say the carbon gives no protection in a spill .... but I like it. |
don't forget to mention when ordering that you have a 748R. the slipper clutch takes a different pressure plate without the teeth on the back. other than that, the springs and cover are the same. oh yeah, speedy moto gear is really good kit. |
Hi khu996, I'll get my wife to take some pictures and try to work out how to put them up on here. Steve |
Here's The Piccie's 5 Attachment(s) Here's The Pictures Of My Re-worked Clutch Housing As Promised. Steve |
Hi, so what do you lads think?....It's not very shiney, but "works" housing, STM Slipper clutch, s/steel springs, MPL Titanium faced basket, alloy kevlar plates and "works" RS 996 steel outer cover!.......Not the flashest looking set-up but it works:) Steve PS, Not to mention the works/corsa 926cc (888) carbon footrests!!! |
That last picture has everything in it, all it needs is Myleeeene, in her bikini, in the shot:D :D |

Hi Does anyone know Steve or have any contact details for him? I have been emailing him to discuss getting this done but with no response yet? Cheers Chris |
Hello cl0nd0n try sending Mr.R a PM, i just did;) regards TopiToo |
Whatever you do don`t go for the tarts handbag Gold look! May one be so bold as to suggest a D.P clutch cover with a red presure plate and S/S spring caps with socket head cap screws, or a good equivalent such as JHP. |
