Hi mazpillon,

I've just been in the post and fool as I am, I've forgotten to ask about a price to ship them for France.
But as I will be in Perpignan for the Christmas period, maybe I can deliver it myself to your door if you're not in a hurry for it :)

Cool - where abouts will you be?? We are in St Feliu d'Amont, about 18 kliks west of Perpignan

And if it being delivered....can I pay in Euros????

Arrr memories!

I do know :) The Joe Bar Team spirit is simply the spirits of all bikers... We're all faster and braver than our mates, and if we're rubbish, we all have the best excuses in the world... ;)

In France we've got 6 albums, and they're all better than the others. In the 2nd album you can follow some youngsters trying to pass their licence, hilarious again and so true. And then buying a V-max as a first bike

I'm a real JBT lover and I just wish all albums will be translated in English one day for you to be able to enjoy them :)

I'll be at my girlfirend's family in St Hippolyte and I don't mind euros. Send me an email with your French details and I'll get in touch with you when I'm down there (from the 21st of December).

What do you mean by delivered, by Post or by me? Do you still want me to get you a quote for the P&P to France?

It is a superb book. Very funny all the way through and once you start it you will read all the way through before putting it down!

My mate Neil translated the books - he was a fan of the comic strips and when the chance came up to do the translations he jumped at it. I know he spent a long time making sure that the subtle jokes, like the guys names, were put into the right context in English.

Not sure if he's doing the next lot or not but I will ask him. He's also registered on here as he owns a 750SS that he loves, but doesn't post much.

Last time I spoke to Philippe about it the second book, the costs of licence etc for bringing out over here was too much.

Shame cos my first bike is pictured on the front cover of it (Honda ST70 monkey bike - I was only 9!)

Heh, you need to speak to Neil about monkey bikes! He did one last year that gave him a whole load of grief! He did a feature for it in Classic Motorcycles & Mechanics - I think that was who he was writing for at the time - that was quite a funny read.

It was brilliant. Well it was when that age living in the country with fields front and back. Went about 100mph (ok 45 but seemed really fast!).

They seem to be back in. I saw a piccie a while back of Prince Phillip riding one around!

Some of them fetch top money too!

Ah... nostalgia ain't what it used to be ;)
