its the first "mod" i did on my 999,it had a better feel to it over the standard throttle,its not as loose as the standard. it feels just right as i have limited wrist movement. |

Yes the 999 has 2 cables for a reason, im told this is because when the engines are in a tuned state (with the single cable throtles) the racers were experiancing a delay in the engine shutting off after hacking down the straight. the 2 cables means that when backing off the throttle this manually closes the butterfly, so if protwins are doing a spring modification then this would appear logical, should this info be accurate. |
