Hi guys,

Just saw one on JHP's website. Not sure what it's like but if it's anything like their other products I'm sure it will be good.

its the first "mod" i did on my 999,it had a better feel to it over the standard throttle,its not as loose as the standard. it feels just right as i have limited wrist movement.

Yes the 999 has 2 cables for a reason, im told this is because when the engines are in a tuned state (with the single cable throtles) the racers were experiancing a delay in the engine shutting off after hacking down the straight. the 2 cables means that when backing off the throttle this manually closes the butterfly,

so if protwins are doing a spring modification then this would appear logical, should this info be accurate.

I think that this is because until recently there has not been much option other than fitting the 996 twistgrip etc,

what wrong with the 996 throttle that you have? the 999 range need it as they operate over about 90degrees as std

nothing, but I didnt ask the original question ;) altho always interested to know if there are improvements avaiable that are worth doing
