Which Bike Hi, Noticed a review of the 1098 in which bike yesterday. Geoff |
Amazing level of info from bike and the cover is sweeetttt!!! Interesting that MCN got so many details wrong in thier test of the 's' this week, such as the price at at a grand less than it should be. Also I've had enough of this, 'oh it's £5K more than an R1', well look at the spec', Ohlins, superlight wheels, so don't campare apples to plums you numptys! |
MCN also says different colour rear cans for the S, is this correct? Simon |
Just got it, cant wait to get home and have a dump....:D |
They seem to like it never the less.............. |
As I posted yesterday, none other that John Hackett himself was grinning ear to ear and telling me 'it's the best bike I've ever ridden' and he has ridden loads. Dropped into the shop today to pick up the nose fairing for the twinspark project, John is still buzzing with the bike. He says if you think it looks good in the pictures wait until you see it in the metal-it will blow us all away. The way he tells it it has the stability of a 916/999 with the flickability and ease of direction change of his supermono-praise indeed, then you add in the best brakes ever on a road bike-better than some WSB bikes, and more power than you have ever had in a Ducati and I forsee long waiting list's.
