You can't.

keefer 10-Feb-2006 18:27

its the pivot or fulcrum-to-piston distance that's different on each item.
so as I thought you cant change it by putting a different leaver in ? no ?

TP 10-Feb-2006 18:38

So, the 19x20 gives you the most lever travel for the same braking forces? I guess more feel then?

Felix 10-Feb-2006 18:42

No, TP, it's the other way around. Go back and read Shazaam's post!

Guys, you've got me well confused :o

Why is there the need for the 19x20 stamp on the body of the cylinder, if the all the 19mm cylinders are the same?

I have read Shazaam's post, and it seems to make sense, but why the difference of opinion on here then?

Best thing is to ring GPR direct in the morning mate, tell them what you have and ask if you can swap a lever???

no great confusion
only Andy who has a different opinion.
give them a bell though. and after that I'm still up for the swap as mentioned above. cheers K

Cheers Andy, will give 'em a ring tomorrow.

It would make more sense to numpties like me for Brembo to advertise them as 19mm cylinders with a choice of levers?!?!

And there was me thinking I needed a whole new master cylinder!
