Ducati are pretty good with mods........so long as there parts are used and there people fit them.

i appreciate the PC or a FIM wouldn't affect the rockers, but if you give them a loophole they could jump straight through the middle of it.

If you've asked and they confirm you'll be OK then you've covered your back.
If you don't and you're handed a bill like Paul could've have got, you'd be pretty pi55ed off :o

No not tight, its just that I can get Motul 300 FS for £22 per 4ltrs, which is bloody cheap by anybodies standard and since theMV runs on the same stuff, it makes sense to keep both bikes on the same oil - especially since I always change the oil and filter every 1500 miles or so.

Second hand parts, now I hadn't thought of that, anybody got a second oil filter and cam belts they don't want !! :lol:

When I had one of my bikes serviced at Snells they automatically checked the rockers as a matter of course and they dont charge any extra as they have to remove the inspection covers in order to check the valve clearences, they can do both jobs at teh same time.
