What you really want to do is take the s/arm out just to make things less stressful. Oh my head hurts just thinking about it.

My advice for fitting is......get the missus to do it!

I did, used the excuse of smaller hands than me and stuff like that.

Hugger went on a treat though, in double quick time and notably less stress to me than jobs like that usually make!;):D

For what my sixpenneths worth, you do need to drill and tap the swingarm to make another mounting point.
Rattler.....sticky back plastic, yeah right!
You will need to remove the rear wheel to drill and tap, although make sure the hugger is central to the top of the tyre before you remove the wheel, marking where you need the hole.
So on and off with the wheel a couple of times to get it central and hole in the right place! Itll be worth it!!
