Yeah I had noticed he buys everything, maybe's he's building a 888 from Ebay parts!

He obviously has that software that puts in a bid right at the end, which I think spoils the fun of bidding.

I wasn't going to ask you to take it off mate as you obviously want to get as much as you can for it and £75 was my limit.

I am after unsual bits of carbon for when I paint the bike black so if you get anything else let me know.

Better luck next time eh!

I reckon he could make 2 or 3 bikes from the parts I've seen him buy ......... 2 swingarms this year amongst lots of other stuff!
QGP - Black sounds pretty funky - have you ever seen another?

Maybe he crashes a lot so needs all these spare parts!

Yes the new colour scheme....satin black with the decals painted black gloss.

If you have a copy of the Ducati 851/888 performance portfolio book there's an article from Fast Bikes mag on page 120 about a one off black 888 done by Claessen Ducati in 1994 I'm doing a replica of that but I'm replacing the seat unit with a single one.

I've been trying to find some colour photos of it as the ones in the book are all B&W. I keep meaning to contact Fast Bikes and see if they have the original pictures archived somewhere, either that or I've got to try and find a copy of Fast Bikes from May 1994.

It's going to look stunning and it'll certainly be a head turner :D
