a better pic |
CCr was Clarkes own brand name for a lot of parts he bought in. The cans could be from anywhere. I have a set of 50mm's here that look identical to Termis, made in Italy, rough carbon and the concave tailpipes. They are even packaged the same. Italy, being Italy, has more stuff coming out of the back door than the front!! Looking at your cans, the joining clips at the back don't look like Termis. The straps on Temis go all the way round and you have 4 "ends" to pass the joining bolt through. Yours appear to have specific clips riveted to the cans. Termis certainly don't have a spacer between the clips. Specify them as CCR's and let the insurance sort the rest out. |
I have Sil's and you can clearly see Sil Motor stamped on the end of the cans so you can clearly see it looking down the pipes from the rear on the chrome bits. At least it rules them out ..... TP P.S. The Sil's are rough so you can feel the weave as well. [Edited on 17-4-2004 by tp-996] |
Hmm,yeah but some Sils were not stamped and just had a sticker on them.(Just like the ones on my 916) Most of CCR stuff was rebadged (restickered) Sil Motor's. |
