I even came into Hartlepool this afternoon in a bid to put a few miles on my new Dragons. Always strange driving in the 'homeland' once more....

Take Care bud !!!

very nice frank! looks like you got away without having to mod the fairing as well.

I wouldn't worry about the single clamp - the stress on the bar would be on the outside of the clamp, which would be the same whether the two handlebars are connected or not.

Any increased stress would be due to more weight on the bars but since the risers reduce weight this is a moot point - anyway, certainly looks more solid than the standard bars!

I guess the lighter steering comes from the more relaxed riding position and the increased leverage - monkey bars next?!

Thats just the kind of thing i'd like to do with my SSie - problem is with the fairing - going to have another look though.
I had give up, but you've got me going again now.:sing:

Cheers - Chi & Steve,

I really should take a piccy now of the completed job. It looks quite good but was such a pain to setup due to the long lenght of the piston body on the clutch side.

I think I was very lucky with the braided clutch and brake hoses mind.

It is soooo much more cumfy and feels superbly planted (but I think this is due ti the reworked forks really) and I CAN ACTUALLY SEE IN THE MIRRORS !!!!

Lots of elbow of course, but better than
before.

Providing the height is not too extreme I'd fully recommend going for it.

Yeah.....I'm just wondering where to fit the chopper style pegs at
