Thanks Bossingit, Just a pain in the ass, and you feel so silly:mad::mad: not so bad now only the lower r-h panel is damaged and is £181 new form the dealer, but also noticed the rear brake lever is slightly bent another £35, doh |
I think my rear brake lever is bent also but I can't remember how it was before. It still seems usable but if any one can give me a measurement from some datum point how it should be then I can check how much it has bent. My lower panel caught it where there is the small oval hump and it is damaged where it got crushed against the clutch cover. |
Same to damage to my lower panel Col, only paint damage and light scuffing really, As for the rear brake pedal, it should be level, horizontal when the bike is stood upright and from above should be inline with the foot peg |

If the brake lever is functional then its fine :D My 998s been down on the right twice and Im still on the original lever ;) |
