Sounds like a great idea. I'll be there if I can.

Hope to see you there Steve, not sure if we are biking up or going by car, it may depend on where the trophies currently are and how they are getting there.

Nothing to do with me, but just to put my 10p in the slot.

Great idea, love it to have a special prize giving, particularly at JHP, however, I suspect only a few will attend and not even the winners might make it. Why not just have a special prize giving on the first race where everyone will be there...big crowd, get the MT there, get Jim Parker to give the awards if nobody else famous can make it. Ask John Hackett along.

I think the thing that has wrangled the most about the situation WJB is waiting till the start of the next season when all last season is long forgotten to get your trophy is a little depressing to say the least.

Love the idea that skids has had though, never been to JHP before either so looking forward to it, apart from the fact that John Hackett calls me pie boy!

Just a reminder that this time next week hopefully if all goes to plan the 2008 Desmo Due Trophy winners will be in posession of their trophies.

Don't worry about it Matt:D He is a bit of a "racing snake"....

....but then again wouldn't we all make more effort if we owned a "Supermono"

Spoke to John earlier today and he confirmed that Tony Rutter will be there to award the trophies

In 1982 Tony Rutter laped the TT course at just over 109mph,
not bad for a Ducati 600 Desmo Due in the form of a TT2, making 78bhp and weighing 148kgs. But you do need big valves and Hi comp pistons as well as a few more useful parts
