i don't think it's entrapment. It's a simple case of stupidity. Having dealt with councils at a planning level in my job I have come to the conclusion that they seem to be full of f*ckwits and people who wouldn't last properly in a commercial environment. Common sense...the lack of it...seems to be endemic.

If you are riding on a main road in a built up area , look for speed limit signs on exits from side roads.

If there aren't any then the speed limit on the road you are using is 30mph

you think they could do the decent thing and put signs up with a number on it to represent the speed, in fact keep repeating the sign too.........:rolleyes:
