Thanks Antonye |
I have a set of Blue Flame cans on my 996, am pretty sure they are 50mm. Havent changed the chip, just using the one that was installed when I bought it. Not sure what chip it was, but it had been changed as my standard cans have had the baffles taken out. Would I be correct in saying that I need this chip. 965025AAA (08054/22). Or would it be best getting one direct from Blue Flame? |
I don't think Blue Flame do matching chips, but if the cans are 50mm (ie, not a full system) then yes you would want the 08054/22 chip in it. |
Had a look last night, but the sticker has never been removed, and it says it will be void if its tampered with, so i'm geussing it must still have the factory chip in it???:puzzled: |
Not necessarily - new stickers are only a couple of quid from Ducati! As I said before, a replacement ECU may have been fitted from the wrong bike as the low-down limit seems to coincidental to the 916. The fact that it's at a particular revs kind of rules out things like kinked fuel lines, dodgy petrol pump, blocked filters and the TPS as these would be through the rev range. |
Not sure what the actual rev limit is on the 916 but i was hitting an indicated 10,000 rpm at cadwell and it hadnt happend then! |
