The rules for the new Class 1C are a Draft (Note the first page) that could yet go several versions so making a mistake doesn't matter as much as its likely to be picked up and corrected in a later version, also the rules are more open to less worry about people reading things into them and less chance of a misinterpratation as well as the being aimed at people with more experience of racing,
I prefer to try and gt Class A and B right first time rather than have different versions floating about

As for a simple update, when allowing for mods to the subframe there are 4 different frames that can be used and all are different so all need to be looked at and see what measurement can cover all of the frames safely. Suprisingly this means getting out and measuring the different frames which takes a bit of time.

Plus dealing with the Phone calls, often a hour long, replying to emails, PMs and liasing with Hottrax all to do with DD, then people expect you to read all the posts and reply to them.

Plus having other things to do like work on a few of my own projects, including getting to grips with new Diagnostic upgrades I've purchased, sort out Dallas's Wiring, Camshafts for Matt Lawson, get out on my bike and try and make the most of the good weather we had in October (Yep selfish I know) go to bike nights, pick up Nev and run him over to Harv748 to collect the 916SP, do a bit of Scrutineering at Snetterton on Friday and Saturday and maybe if I get time I can have a look around the Web, see whats on Ebay and even watch a bit of TV, before thinking about next Sundays Oxon/Berks rideout.
I'm also getting hassled over the Prescott Bike Festival as they want a commitment, not an easy thing to do when all you have is a provisional race Calendar

Anybody would think the 2012 season started next week
Still at least the winter is almost upon us along with the shorter days so no doubt I will be less distracted by wanting to get out on the bike over the next few months

I am willing to redraft the Class 1c rules.;)

skidlids 30-Oct-2011 15:34

What and make them the same as one of the proposed Hottrax classes

Cranker V2 30-Oct-2011 16:04

No, just make them so bikes with mag wheels, or mag yokes or swinger are eligible as well as up the HP limit.....................

Well that little lot fits in with the Hottrax Superbike class so is already cater'd for

And how does Bradders think a 848 fits with a grid for bikes of at least Ten years old

Cranker V2 30-Oct-2011 21:10

I know Kev, will give it a run out in that.:)

But within certain Guide lines based on the Hottrax Classic Superbike and Supercup frame work, so essentially bikes that were about over 10 years ago and essentialy without up-to-date modifications

Those rules will do for me Kev. Short sweet and succinct
