Spoke to Karen at Hottrax today and it is correct. Gonna have to speak to Dave though about maybe relaxing the caliper rule.

To be honest I think the only difference between the two types of caliper is that the P4 has a bit better feedback.

Same can probably be said for other calipers that can be fitted to GSXR750s, ZXR750s, RC45s, R7s etc etc, surely its one rule for all, standard bikes with limited modifications applicable to all bikes in the class. Otherwise where does it stop.
Shower Injectors on a 996Bip or a SPS maybe, the 24 degree headstock insert or 998R engines in Supercup or even a 999 engine as nobody will know the difference

Soz, I meant to say an across the board relaxing of the caliper rule.
The regs do say other bikes and models will be considered so I don't think it is beyond reason to ask that other option calipers fitted to the OE forks can be included.

Comes from putting together bikes for the Proddy TT, its a long way to go not to race and would be a waste of the 2 weeks booked as Holiday, Ferry costs and the cost of two bikes if we fell at the first Hurdle that is scrutineering on a technical infringement of the rules.
