The problem is that it's all too easy to see smoking (and other vices) as being glamourous without fully appreciating the knock-on effects that it has, not just to your own health but also to the health and mental well-being of those around you. But on the brighter side... only 45 days to the first race of the season!! :o |
hope the quitting is going well mate,if it isnt, dont give up giving up,keep trying, bit like racing really!!it was a major contributable factor with my triple bypass, and i felt so much better just by giving up,keep busy mate its worth it !! :biaggi: |
Good luck with it mate. It took me four or five attempts before I finally managed to quit but it sounds like you're really motivated and determined. Life without cigarettes can seem unimaginable when you're a regular smoker but it's soon forgotten and boy does it feel good. Funny isn't it that riding motorbikes is also considered a health risk by some, but there's nothing more life-affirming - get off the tobacco and get the most out of your riding! |
the average uk smoker spends...... The average UK smoker spends £2500 a year on cigarettes. |
