I think campers are classed the same as vans for LEZ, but check your reg here if unsure

That is the one thing that put me off a van. To be compliant with LEZ I had to spend much more cash, then the added insurance, serciving, tax etc didn't make it worth the cost for me :mad:

The gvw of your camper needs to be 2500kg or less, for about £100 a camper can be officially re-weighed and issued with a new weight plate. A t4 (origonally gvw 2800) with a camper conversion will weigh around 1900kg, leaving 600kg of passengers and luggage. A bike at 154kg still wouldn't push you over the max.

The gross weight of the smaller sprinters is around 2000kg but most of the lwb ones are already over the max for lez compliance even before they're fitted out as motorhomes.
