Im having the same problem with my ZX6R. I have tried almost everything. I took it yesterday to a bike garage and he tried an impact driver and an air wrench and the little fecker will not budge. The nut is starting to round off now as well:mad:

SWEAR VERY LOUDLY AT THE BARSTEWARD, THEN TAKE A HAMMER AND COLD CHISEL TO IT.

What was wrong with the old design with the little (M5?) Allen screws and retaining plate?

Too easy to remove?
