I have a 54mm titanium half system waiting to go on, titanium conrods and 998S/R cams and ECU being fitted at the next service - depending on funds might stretch to some forged pistons, a balance and a port/flow on the cylinders. Just need to get it back from its gearbox repair now :( |
:D 748 Bip........................... 45 to 50 mm Termi half system. FIM chip. Full monty engine tweak and set up. A bit of head work. 853 big bore from Sigma;)..............um, 5 spoke Marchi wheels. Carbon Solo seat unit. And other bits and bobs. Its a right nice little ride i tell you!:o:cool: DC. If it's a second hand one then get all the worn / broken / knackered bits sorted first. On my 748 that meant, powder coated frame, new pads, new m/cyl cover, top end rebuild, cambelts, new swing arm spindle & bearings, new clutch basket & plates, change all fluids & filters, new front tyre, new back brake hose, lots of little 8mm stainless fasteners. Then get it set up to fit you. Double bubble screen, Helibars, Biposto springs chucked, new springs/shock rebuilt/ suspension set up by Graeme at Shoxx in Glasgow. Helibars make a massive difference if you are tall & fragile like me. Then make it look & sound how you like. Mine had JHP titanium cans chip & airfilter already so all I had to do was paint it black & bung on a DP hugger. Lighter clutch slave cylinder on the list next. Then go looking for more power if you must. I just need to learn to use what's there. Robbie :sing: |
Termi's, FIM Chip, Filter & Dyno setup (TP reset, chip reprogramming etc):D Radial M/Cylinder, HEL Brake lines HH Pads :D :D Adjusted levers, stuck Diablo's on, and a single seat unit (easily good for 10BHP :sing: ), ditched the toolkit in the garage, eat 1 less mars bar a day. Next Gearing to 14/40 Suspension fully worked over Magnesium Wheels Then 853, Nitrous, parachute, learn to ride better... The order of planned mods has changed in recent weeks, and may change again... |
my 748 has termis and chip stuck on it and marvic rims. altered the gearing to suit. better air filter, open clutch basket, super dooper singing and dancing alarm that keeps dam well BLEEPING!! |
DP high screen, carbon hugger, Scottoiler and a Ventura luggage system - for my 999S. </Loz ducks behind a wall> :frog::frog::frog: </Loz ducks down again> |
Couldn't decide where to start so I think that I'd better not ;-) |
