That was a mighty impressive performance for a Class B bike that was tested at within the regs. Down to a great set up or Chris's ability, or both?

[quote=kiwicoops][quote=Ghost]You can get them very flat on the 583. Here is a pic of mine.

Is that a chart of last years winning bike, with torque in ft/lb on left scale?

Yes just a dyno run on JHP's dyno. No setup by them, just as I built it.

Felt more Phil, and looked more!

Re Chris, having been in close quarters a bit, incredibly smooth and very high corner and exit speed coupled with a good bike, meaning the extra t end power didnt have that much of an affect until end of the main straigt really

hoping the straights of Snetterton means I won't have to follow him much next time out! But no guarantees.....

Following could be useful but Snett in its current form will be new to him.

I was very surprised initially with the eed of Alan's old bike. However as the weekend progressed it became obvious that it was not being achieved through extra power.

As for the rules. If you can't enforce them or they become a judgement issue then it makes it difficult to enforce. It's a bit like speed limits. You know exactly where you stand. So bop and weight limits are enforceable.
