:D I have the Halifax One Card, 0% for balance transfers & new purchases for 9 months. Then it is 9.9% APR , not bad;) https://www.halifax-online.co.uk/_me...rmsLogin.asp?/ Just click on the View Demonstrations & then click on the Credit Card tab, follow simple instructions & jobs done, simple. Do you think they will extend my 9 months 0% limit for putting this up?? Chris. |
Or, you could play them at their own game. Apply for a 0% card (or 2, or 3) When it comes through do a 0% transfer to your bank account (or to another card that allows you to do this) Stick it in a high interest account for 2 weeks under the 0% term Pay the card off & keep the interest. I tend to set it up so the monthly minimum comes out of the same account, so it's essentially paying itself off. Nothing illegal, or immoral about this  Oh, and if you contact them, talk nicely and cancel the card in a couple of months you can apply for another one again. It does take a bit of self discipline not to spend all that cash in the bank though.... |
