If you really want to save some money i can sell you some second hand belts. Only done 5000 miles or so. £15 each.

I think you'll also find a couple of Peugeot 205 silencers work out a lot cheaper than Termi's. :P

Are you for real or were you having a laugh??
Perhaps you're not ready to own a Duke!!
These bikes are not just machines, they are far more than that & as such they should be looked after properly, which doesn't mean trying to save £ 2.50 on a VERY important service item!!

Belts are around the £20 for the pukka items, and i get mine changed every 6k or 9 months which ever comes sooner. I have seen some of my old belts after 6k and another 6k i would be shocked if they lasted to the ducati approved 12000 or 2 years.
For the sake of a few quid and a couple of hours of skinned knuckles (not mine but my mechanic's) as the old saying goes
Prevention is better (and cheaper ) than cure.

Can you get four valve belts for £20 Paul? I though 2 valve ones were about that price.

thats what my man gets them for, although he does buy in bulk with the mileage i do. for my 900ss they were around £14 i think, i get my SS back this week so will know for sure then

I've just changed the belts on my 888. The pukka items were £60 a pair.
