I've moved into the 999's & Moto GP now, just got; Haga 2004 Haslam 2004 Xaus 2003 Hodgson 2003 Capirossi 2003 I'll be either bankrupt or divorced by the end of the year at this rate!! I didn't bid on the Corser 99 that went through recently,i'm into collecting these things, but i can't justify £400+ for them, that's just mad!! It'll be interesting watching Jaspers rare test bike though, but you have to remember,it's not listed by Minichamps so only people that have been watching this site will know the story behind it!! |
There's no way Jasper's bike will fetch £500, even with the story behind it. You'd have to be one SERIOUS collector who wanted every bike they've ever made to want it. It's a novelty, but not highly desirable in my opinion. |

Where did you get the hodgson '03 & capirossi '03 ? I've got all the desmosedeci bikes to date, but haven't seen the '03 gp bikes for sale for a while. |

Yes, the bike is a "one off",but the fact remains,it's not an offical Minichamps release & it was probably "lifted" from the factory by an employee,so are you technically "handling stolen goods" if you purchase it? Just a thought!! Also, you only paid £250ish,if my memory serves me rightly,so you'd be better off selling it to me for £100 & we'll say no more about it!!! |

The Hodgson 03 came from a dealer i've located in Greece, nice helpful guy, good to deal with, not too silly with his prices & stuff arrives net day via DHL!! I'm after the Bayliss 03 bike now,do you know of one for sale? |

Baylissboy - I think he paid less than that. Around £150ish I think... |
im with some of you guys, paying £300,400,500 for one model is the next step, of which i will not be taking. i am happy with the collection to date only missing the foggy 2000, I have already started my GP collection with all the Rossi bikes and a Tamada which is quite nice. I also need to get a Haslam. Will get my reynolds 2000 and hodgson 2001 tomorrow once I pay customs £18. Bloody cheek. Still i got them dirt cheap. My Barry Sheene arrived today, very nice bike. Waiting for the postie to deliver, Reynolds 2000 & 2001 Hodgson 2001 & 2002 Rutter Macau 2002 I would like to get both Kato's bikes, really like the 2002. Crikey the list is endless???? |
I'm after a 2002 Kato NSR but I'm not paying £200 for one... |
so whats the six bsb bikes then please ?? not interested in the rutter macau rep or the wildcard 999's from last year. ive got hodgson 00, reynolds 01, hislop 02, byrne 02 and 03 so is just the 02 rutter im missing on the 998 bsb set ?? ive got a bayliss 03 gp bike and have pre ordered my capirossi dirty race winning rep and hodgson 04, rolfo 05 too |
The BSB bikes are; Hodgson 2000 Reynolds 2001 Hislop 2002 Byrne 2002 & 2003 Rutter 2002 I don't count the Reynolds 2000 because that was a WSB wildcard or either of the Renegade 999's because they were wildcards! |
as i was writing it i thought of the rutter model. i may get the 999 in the future when they release the bsb 999's |
I'm after a Bayliss 2003 Desmosidici, anybody got one they want to sell or know of anywhere with one in stock? Also i've been offered a Reynolds 2000,anybody interested in it,send me a u2u & i'll forward their e-mail address!! |
if i'd know you wanted one i wouldnt have taken the day off sick to do some extra wedding preparation and would have called in model zone for you and seen what they had mate, thats where i got my 01 rossis froma nd my bayliss 02 was only 19.99. i'll see if i can get there phone number for you |

Jasper, this is the definition of handling (section 22 Theft Act 1968) "A person handles stolen goods if knowing or believing them to be stolen goods he dishonestly receives the goods or dishonestly undertakes or assists in their retention, removal, disposal or realisation by or for the benefit of another person, or if he arranges to do so" |
I don't think the item has been stolen, there has been no indication that it has been stolen, any wrong doing or dishonesty;therefore i don't see myself as a "handler".Thanks for the post though! |
Just posted it to put your mind at rest mate- it seems you dont fit the description of the definition!! |
thanks mate. |
