hmmm CK... sounds tempting...

distance between us may make that hard. If there were a few more rounds on other circuits then i might be tempted.

Phil... yeah was talking to Chi but looks like his already has a home.

Tony - do you think i am made of money!!

I'm just trying to save you the pain in the long term. Once you've done one race you'll regret not doing the series!

Thats the truth................:)

Lily 08-Jul-2005 17:59

yeah, but choice wise I would still sooner race SoT as i am used to the bike, prefer the circuits and its would be cheaper for me.

So it would have to be something significant to persaude me into DD at the moment

You'd race Bob? Remember, there's a MUCH higher chance you'll crash and I daresay you'll have more money tied up in Bob than you would in a DD bike. Could you afford to throw Bob in a skip and walk away?

Not sure that's the best way into racing to be honest Lily. Obviously it's your call but ongoing costs will be more than DD.

As for DD, you soon get used to the bike and your riding will improve tremendously.

Been in England too long, turning into a whinging Pom!

Robbie Mcewen and Troy Corser separated at birth

Lily 08-Jul-2005 18:21

Tony

Cost of Bob - approx 9k
Significant crash damage cost say 4.5k but still have bob to ride on the road

buying a dd bike and doing lots of track days to learn to ride it is probably gonna cost me more than 4.5k and thats assuming i crash anyway!!

If I do SoT it will only be a few races just for the giggle factor

Dom - I don't think you have a very good grasp of reality dude... I could stay in bed and still be ahead at the end!

I'd be careful if I was you Nick, I only need an average of 2.8 points a race more than you from here until the end to overtake you.

Don't fall off ;)

You are now my primary target in the championship.

Shocked and Mortified....

.........that the honourable name of the DD series could be associated with such outrageous tosh and nonsense! How dare you cast aspurtions on my mate Nick the carrot headed matchstick man and TP the fat Aussie, just because they were lucky on the woodland circuit, why whatever next :P
