Nattyboy 03-Mar-2006 08:45

Deej..I can organise you a full QB Carbon FG kit with mucho discount, pre drilled, with fasteners, options on sidestand cut out/size of air intakes, RS mounting brackets for the WSB belly pan etc..quality is superb and fits like a dream (you can see mine on the 12th).

Lets have a chat and if you fancy it i'll get the wheels in motion..

u2u me the price details then mate, pre drilled, standard air intakes, side stand cutout. was hoping to have 1 in place for the 12th, have started to panic over all of these worst case scenarios people keep talking about so ive bought some trye warmers on the cheap today just need race plastics now.

is there any sets out there that fit over the front lights or will they have to be removed before fitting any race kit

counting down the days, im getting quite excited now.

Nattyboy 03-Mar-2006 18:32

U2U deej

deej 03-Mar-2006 18:44

What exactly are you after? I've got a two or three sets in the garage that I was going to put up for sale in the summer. I've got one good set in red and another tattier set in yellow and a few other bits and bobs aswell (red bull stuff). Let me know what u are after and I'll see what I can sort out. If I come up the night before Silverstone, I can bring it with me then?

deej 03-Mar-2006 20:45

simon you maybe a star, im only after something to use on trackdays so i am interested in what you have available, can you email me some photos and prices to me at thecornishduke@tiscali.co.uk and i'll ring you back if you leave me your number. im after side panels and top fairing too and maybe a seat unit if possible but not essential ( bip unit if in desperate situation ) although the red bull set sounds interesting too. my old r6 was a red bull rep.
are you definetly going to be at silverstone ??

cheers mate

Harv748 04-Mar-2006 00:32

Deej...see your other post after fairings in the wanted section regarding offer also...

deej 04-Mar-2006 01:44

cheers for the offer harv but i dont want to borrow anything in case i break it then have to pay out for 2 sets. if its mine and it gets damaged it doesnt matter. did you have to remove your front lights for your kit ??

Harv748 04-Mar-2006 01:53

Yep...but its a 2 minute job...and I mean 2 minutes.
Seriously...if you want to borrow some...let me know...I am actually thinking of selling them, but thats another story!

I have no problem with you using them...they are not mint, in fact I have a spare panel here that has been down the track, so you could use that one for starters, along with the seat unit which has also been banged about a bit. That just leaves one side panel and the nose cone that are in good condition!

deej 04-Mar-2006 02:01

if your thinking of selling them then thats a different story, how much would you want for the kit mate ??

Harv748 04-Mar-2006 02:03

I'll drop u a message tomorrow mate...been down the pub and feeling a bit tired now...off to get some shut eye...:(

andys 900ss 08-Mar-2006 10:14

Hi guys,

Is there power available here? and if so what sockets do they have?

Andy

skidlids 08-Mar-2006 14:03

Yes Power is available from what I recall there is access to both normal 13 amp plug sockets and the Blue 240V hook-up sockets

andys 900ss 08-Mar-2006 15:12

Thanks Skids, here's hoping for drier weather...

Andy

skidlids 08-Mar-2006 15:36

I'll be taking my wets just in case and the Diablos on the DD bike should cope and may be good practice for the first round at Cadwell

deej 09-Mar-2006 00:19

the 5 day weather forecast doesn look very good for sunday at all, worst weather of the week, typical.

think i'll be fitting me wets before i leave home on the saturday

skidlids 09-Mar-2006 00:34

I think I'll be taking a couple of sets of leathers, boots, gloves, helmets as well as the wets and possibly a snowmobile

phoenix n max 09-Mar-2006 02:14

I 'may' see you there Kev ;)

deej 09-Mar-2006 19:27

it doesnt look too good does it kev. think my new sporting club fleece will have to be used over leathers to avoid the snow :eureka:

skidlids 10-Mar-2006 01:14

the weather forecast I'm watching has improved slightly for Sunday, its now saying No snow showers until Sunday night

andys 900ss 10-Mar-2006 11:09

Eek, weather not looking good!! I'll deffo bring my wets.

Anyone know what pressure to run Dunlop Wets KR244's?

See you all Sun, Andy

deej 10-Mar-2006 21:19

changed to light snow on the forecast i been watching

skidlids 10-Mar-2006 23:50

Forecast I'm watching says showers and temps rising through the day

Had to pack the van today as I now have to work tomorrow, as well as the DD bike and 996 I've added wets on wheels for the 996 and as I had a couple of spare front wets I put one on a wheel for the DD bike and let Senna3 have the other to fit to his spare wheel for the DD bike.

Roll on Sunday as I'm all packed and ready to go now

deej 11-Mar-2006 00:00

roll on sunday man. im semi packed, need to get my mates bike in but cant do that until tomorrow when hes rode to work, once hes at work i can get loaded up to leave as soon as hes finished

are we all going to try to use the same garage ???

skidlids 11-Mar-2006 00:24

We will see how it pans out when we get there Deej
when we roll up we usually pull up to the back of a garage that isn't already taken

I did think I wasn't going to make this one as the 748 is still in bits and only the pistons have been returned (no barrels though). So enter plan B and dusted off the 996 in the garage, charging the battery as we speak and will be swapping over all the 748 bodywork onto it tomorrow afternoon. Also planning to put some Dunlop intermediate wets on it aswell. I'm not sure if I can find my large rear socket so if I bring my dry weather tyres, would any of you kind sirs mind loaning me the relevant socket if I need to change tyres? I'll try to fit in my paddock stands but not sure about finding the other bits.

Whatever happens, I'll see you all on Sunday.

GREAT day at Mallory today, sunshine and no rain!

Roll on tommorow for a weather miracle!!!!

andys 900ss 11-Mar-2006 21:45

Yeh, I called into Donni today to see how the new garages were getting on and they are looking very nice and silvery, and the weather was good. A couple of seriously fast guys going round in the fast group, at one time I thought one had got the throttle stuck-on as he headed into Redgate so quick and then proceeded to back it in.

See you all tomm's and if the weather's like today its gonna be good.

Andy

skidlids 11-Mar-2006 21:49

just checked the weather forecast I've been watching :( now where did I leave the snowmobile.
Still i'll be meeting up with Senna3 at 7am on the North side of Oxford, should leave us about 25 miles to do in a hour or less.

andys 900ss 11-Mar-2006 21:51

Oh, well. I'm leaving around 6, so I would be there around 7.30-8.00. We still looking to find a garage near no 20?

Andy

Chris Wood 11-Mar-2006 21:59

I'll be there early....

BIG BLUE lwb van with Merry Printers - my DD sponsor - on it.

Will park at garage #20 and try and hold it for us...

I had a dose of sunshine today at Mallory....more tommorow please????
