Some reaction, yes. But the time to resolve it was crazy. Plus he had seen it prior to agreeing to do it. A phone call is allways helpfull. Not weeks of no contact.

The triton is a 28 year yearning, and this one is all mine.
Air fair this weekend at biggin hill.
the seat needs a lick of Red.
The angry face will stay untill i crack the avatar problem i have.

Just out of interest. Do the rear brakes work on 749/999. Little effect on earlier bikes. Also i need a silver rear brake for my 996 to match the new fronts.

dunno if they work.....front radials are so awesome, don't ever remember touching the rear one !

Yep the standard rear brake works well on the 749 / 999, much better than the 749 and 996 I had before.

New Ergal AT Corse Pressure plate and Red Caps
 
got my new clutch pressure plate and caps today !
from Andrea at AT Corse,
nice finish, I wanted Ergal like the Xerox Corse bikes, so thats what they did for me

Nope not rust...just checked, got me worried there, its some sort of grease

Polished metal ?? urgh ! that means you have to keep polishing it dosen't it ?

It is the same exhaust that was fitted as standard from new, I will have just polished it a bit.

one little trip to JHP later...........
 
passing thro' Coventry on the way back from a customer yesterday, I realised I could pop in to JHP, met them at BSB rounds before but never had the opportunity to go in to the shop
what a great bunch of guys !!
made me feel right at home there, workshop tour, cuppa etc
saw 3 749Rs in there for work
I even picked myself up some early birthday presents when I was there
thanks again to John n Dave !!
