Hi, I like CK, must be out of the ordinary too, I like wsb and gp, riding bike, playing with old cars too, my Dad taught me how to weld and I rebuilt my old beetle, I serviced it myself twice a year, (out of touch now on modern engines tho) and HATE shopping... and do it very rarely.... then it's not so bad... I only watch the occasional soap, and not much else, I like Action Films no girlie ones with all that love crap and soppy stuff in...

so am I weird???

[Edited on 11-8-2004 by paulmort]

TP 11-Aug-2004 22:02

Aren't you struggling with the web today Mort.

For quotes you can either use the green quote button on the rhs top of the post box or you can use these brackets [] with quote inside the first set of brackets ... then the text you want to quote (could paste it in) and then another st of brackets [] with /quote in those .... and it will look like this below ...

You can only add an attachment if you click on the post reply button as opposed to using the Quick Reply box at the bottom of each thread.

The TP helpdesk is now closed ...

Incidentally Mort, trying a Montana Marlborough Sauv Blanc from kiwiland - tasty :D Thought you'd be interested ...

Henners 11-Aug-2004 22:05

Yes it's quality!!

Shame their Rugby isn't!

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

GO YOU WALLABIES

TP 11-Aug-2004 22:09

Just kidding, I know they are a quality rugby side - I'm just happy to have returned the favour in Sydney on the weekend after they beat us in Wellington.

Henners 11-Aug-2004 22:11

How do you get from making wine to playing with peculiarly shaped balls?

TP 11-Aug-2004 22:19

NZ wine ... NZ All Blacks .... us beating the All Blacks ...

Easy if you're committed (and not to an institution!)

Redruth 11-Aug-2004 22:23

Minor point here guys - 'technical info and wine don't mix' You can have one or the other, but not both. Trust me. I'm an expert in the latter and complete no hoper in the former. What was the thread here? Oh yeah. 'Help me understand women.' Women, in general, will not admit to their faiilings. In fact, they are not failings, they are 'qualtiies, reasons you love them, advantages even.' The chasm between men and women is SOOOOO huge, it cannot be crossed. Can we ditch this thread? It's been entertaining, enlightening, exasperating and is now expired! PLEASE??? But I'm a woman, so who's gonna take any notice of me??

:rodent::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Who says? I write my best documentation with wine although I have to make liberal use of the F7 key .... :frog:

I thought this was character? Kinda like why I love my Ducati

888heaven 11-Aug-2004 22:32

who said women havent a sense of humour

When God created Eve and she'd been hanging around he asked her if she was happy with what he had created,so she looked in the mirror.
Why have i got three breasts she asked God? I think i would look better with 2 so God removed one and chucked it in the hedge.
A week later Eve said she was lonely and asked for a partner so God retreived the useless tit and introduced man.

Im only a useless tit when it comes to housework i perkup as soon as the garage door is lifted""""

I took up the offer of free decals (market place)from "Revolution Decals". Pretty neat they are as well. cheers guys!:)
However, wrt this thread, a couple of the decals are of "4-Play" in a kind of scripty font.
My 8 year old daughter saw these and said "If you don't want those dad, can I put them on my bike?" To which, mother chips in with "course you can love, daddy doesn't know what they mean any way"
OOOhhhhhh, cutting, straight for the jugular. See, once they start to gang up on yer' it's time to retreat to the garage.

guest1 11-Aug-2004 23:44

Was it Zen or Confucious who said "Woman like typewriter - not part of office furniture till screwed on desk"
