Indicated 165mph on my old R6. About 130mph on my 748S - had much more to give too. Indicated 145mph in my Beemer racing a mate along the local race track. Mum's the word. ;) Ade. [Edited on 28-1-2005 by ath748] |

Never a true word said in jest or something like that Bradders...Mossy got gatsoed that day i think:o |
Had 158 on the clock of my old 749S. 155 on the clock of my 996R - however I was following a Gixxer 750 and SP2, both of whom indicated 170. Both these were in Germany and in this country I never exceed the spedd limit except when following Charlotte!!! ;) |
152 on the 749 160 on the ZX9R 165 on the ZX12R (probably a bit more but 2 busy looking where I was going) 130 on the ZXR400 160 on the R6 tricky. :saint: |
145 indicated on my XJ900F on some London racetrack, I forget the name of it. The wind got under me and tried to tear me off, so I held on tighter. Dropped the throttle when the front end started to come up :o and, lo and behold, there was the Dartford Tunnel. :puzzled: At Cadwell (well near it, anyway) I saw 164 on the 999S. Plenty more in the bank, but that racetrack seemed to have a roundabout on it so I had to slow down. Oops ... 125 on my 750Sport - dag, that thing is slow. 120 on my old Suzy GT750A - what a bus! I just don't get the urge to do hyper-silly on the roads these days ... I hate to thing I'm becoming sensible. :( I've always had more fun cornering than speeding. [Edited on 28-1-2005 by Loz] |
