Deej Just here for the fun, and coz I lurve work................and if you beleive that, then you'll beleive anything Why am I here? Its for the challenge, now in charge of a department of over 300 peeps, many facets of the telecomms industry all thown into one as well. More importantly I was offered an obscene amount of dosh, so thats the reason, and its tax freeeteehee as well But I do miss Blooo very much, but I nkow Nelly has her tucked up nice and warm in bed, so she's in good hands, ...........Nelly,,,, stop poking at those zorsts.............. Jeff ya likkle bu^^er, howzit going mate, glad you're snug and warm !!??!! I am seriously thinking bout a 250 single, suck, squeeze, bang, blow thumper, maybe small KTM with ultralong fork travel for a bit of local road bashing at the weekend when its a little saner !! on the roads. A Anyone got any ideas of a 250 - 400 road/off road beastie that can either be imported, or broken into small pieces and carried in suitcases/handluggage (so I dont have to pay a whopping 50% import duty) Seriously, I am missing riding more than I miss se><.,,,,, No Mort, you aint gone senile yet, have you, No, just my alter ego having a go at me, like Jool's rodent but more vociferous. ,,, ok back on track, I miss riding so much that it will be like an org^^m at the first roundabout, srri peeps, couldnt keep away from the subject Look out for further updates bestest a bikeless mort :(:(:(:(:(:(:puzzled: |
Enjoy mate, it wont be long before your back for a visit will it? |
Good to hear you're keeping well Meester Mort. :D Sounds like you're missing Blooduke though, better get back for a TD sharpish! I've heard that if you go more than 3 months without thrashing the pants off a duke you come out in a nasty rash and weeping sores. :o Besides, if I don't get to see you mono-ing Bloo down the start-finish straight at Silverstone then I'm sending the heavies round to 're-distribute' her to someone that will! On the thumper front I'd suggest anything that they have dealers for over there would be best. I've spent months (literally) waiting for parts to clear customs for my landy, and it's worse than not having a car/bike in the first place. On the importing front I'd recommend bribery. It'll never be a problem getting it back into the UK, so just make sure you can get it in to Nigeria in the first place. As you say, get the bike sent over without any wheels and passed through as 'spares' and then get the wheels sent over. Not sure how registering it for the road would work, but where there's a will...etc. ;) Good luck and let us know when you're back in blighty. Cheers, ali |
