Where :puzzled: ...anyway which one of those is a proper team again?? :barfy: |
Just to make it easy for you .... :frog: Quote:
Andy, if MotoGP teams can make it work, reagardless of grid position then they have to have some credibility right? Notwithstanding any issues causing low grid positions directly relating to slippers. |
I go the STM 48 tooth evo to replace the horrible standard slipper that came on my 749R. It's a fantastic bit of kit. I was also influenced by the number of people picking clutch posts out of the gravel at rockingham. Of course the STM might not do any better. |
But if they make decisions like using those sort of clutches.....Its no wonder there crap. What other dumb ideas do they use?? Apart from a poor v5 thats never been any good and sounds flat(only surpassed by the Suzuki attempt), fly by wire throttles, painting their bikes green.......... |
Mr sheep, I know where your bike is or has recently been...I bet god commented on it!!:frog: [Edited on 16-2-2005 by andyb] |
I was considering the centre spring clutch for the very same reason ans Rob, I was standing next Paul (Rockhopper) who I think took the clutch cover off Loz's bike (sorry mate :( ) and saw the posts fall on the ground! Having said that, I plumped for the Ducati Corse slipper which has worked a treat and I'm very happy. Mind you, I have one of those near bomb-proof clutch covers that Nelly is doing now. Awesome! You could beat someone to death with one without raising a sweat! Or, extract a confession .. whatever you're up to ;) [Edited on 16-2-2005 by tp-996] |
When Lozs' clutch was assisted by him to fail at Rocky, It was me that supplied the replacement and kit to fit with Neil. |

True! All true! I've now had fitted a Speedymoto bullet proof pressure plate, and a rather bling open cover, both supplied by Nelly. It's only a matter of time now before I can report on how well they stand up to a R-H lowside. :D |
Forks are good, you wont regret it.well nothing a little cry wont sort out! Tp, i bet you advocate hydrolastic suspension aswell! |
