Yeah true mike, but these were seocond-hand hand just wanted the noise really:D:D

Fast enough, already got 6 points!!!!

I paid the dealer £10 to change chip and they adjusted the idle and said it should be ok now, can be set up for more cash though:D

It certainly goes better now to and sounds awesome!!!!!

Cool,
thats what gets missed sometimes, if your happy with the deal then thats the main thing, thats what makes biking so diverse and at the end of the day that glorious noise is the main factor.

So... does it make THAT much difference, is it going to cause any problems running the termis on the original chip ? is the chip change just an extra to give more power etc.... or is it vital whwn you swap the cans.

thanks

I ran my 2002 748s for 12 months in standard form, then as the need to hear termi’s exceeded the need to keep cash in pocket 45mm cans were fitted. It now played the right tune but the fuelling / throttle response was worryingly bad (but I would expect bikes differ one to another).
A ride over to Mike Davis for a jhp chip/set up /coffee and chat then back on the bike hoping it may have eased it some. Before the clutch leaver was fully out it felt sorted so I spent the next hour trying find a glitch, I couldn’t so filled up again and took the very long way home.:D:D:D:D
For me the difference was so marked that if I ever change pipes/chips/ bikes even if standard for what it costs, and it's not alot, set up will be first on my list of things to do. :burn:
Cheers Ian
