RSF Ring Carl Harrison,He`s a bit of a 851/888 specialist now and only half an hour away from you. It`s a bit of a :pig: of a job as you`ve got to take all the weight off your swingarm, but`s straight forward enough to raise the rear. You`ll have to come out for a beer with me,rooney, dodgy etc when this snow clears:eureka: |
Cheers sparkin. Got a number and location for Carl Harrison? That would be great. Yep Naarfuk will indeed be noisy this year! Would love to meet up with some of you guys soon, not in the snow tho! Just been out in it actually, got this old volvo estate as a spare car, rear wheel drive, round the lanes of Norfolk, what a laugh! Do you guys meet up at pubs on any particular days etc? Next time you're out let us know, send a u2u or something.:D |

Looks great mate ! See youve done a quick release fastener conversion...great idea and saves arsing about with an allen key for half an hour..how did you do this..easy ? Also..im loving that stainless floor...:D where did you get it..?!! Nat |
The quick release fasterner conversion was easy. It was already done when I got the bike!! But, it looks quite easy Nat. The females are put over the holes inside and then you have to drill two small holes top and bottom, and then use two small rivets to keep them in position. Then the males just go in a quarter turn obviously. It does look good and is so much easier to undo the fairings. The stainless floor on the bench was also done when I got it (there's a theme here...) a mate of mine works at a truck factory and makes these benches in his spare time. I think he has all those bits floating round at his work. |
that shape is really growing on me....nice. |
