Hi guys,finally got an answer from the seller i tracked down!!

Not as good news as i thought,he had the Bostrom 2000,but not the Bayliss(shame,jasper is gagging for this one)!!:(

I ended up buying the Bostrom 2000,Reynolds 2000,Foggy 99 & a Foggy 2000!!

I'll re-sell the two Foggy's & i've been promised a Reynolds 2000,so i could let one of them go!!

Has anybody imported any models from the US?

Do I have to be concerned with any import taxes, etc? If so, how much would I have to pay?

I've not done it, but I did buy some parts for my RSV from the US. If I remember correctly, you have to pay VAT and import duty. The duty varies depending on what's being imported.

You could always get a friend to send you something from the US as a present?

The present / gift thing is irrelevant as the value limit on a gift is still only £36 max.

And you'd want it insured for more than that...
