various replies: I can't use the std battery location cos there is a K&N in the way! the ones on ebay were a joined pair to go on std inlet manifolds, and half the object of the exercise is to get rid of these I too have seen a site with some pix of a split carb setup, but I can't find the link either! But - they are on and the bike runs so its off to be dynoed tomorrow (And knowing how things have gone thus far there will be a problem and I'll spend Thursday night refitting the CVs.........):D |

That's why we're leaving them for some serious dyno setup time instead of trying to rush them on. |

Now where's the fun in that? :burn: |
You guys get some work out of me !!! LOL - no one else can ;) Not the link I was thinking of but its a good one: http://desmoracerz.free.fr/keihin.html and have a look at the bottom most link - split carbs. Paynep is right - split FCR's with Malossi inlet stubs seems to be the way to go. Interesting price too: 995Euro = £671 :o:o:o:o:o:o |
Phew, at least somebody is charging more than I paid for the carbs! And then you need fanimolds and filters...... But trust me, those cables will be too short.............. |
