As comfy as a old armchair, especially after dismounting from a 748.
I'm 6' and 15 stone and done 5 long distance tours (2000 to 3000mile on average for each) with & without pillion and found it no problem at all.
The only slight discomforts that may arise after a long day in the saddle are numb foot, excess heat from rear pot if stuck in traffic when 35 deg +, heavy clutch action on older models again when in heavy city traffic, neck ache if std screen fitted and carrying a tankbag while doing speeds in excess of 95mph+ but the rest is a shear delight.
Watch out for heavy rear tyre use if using anything softer than BT020's and if you like to gas it early out of bends.
Mines an 'FE' (Final Edition No.234) and has covered 20,000+ well maintained miles, one track day and the Nuerburgring this year with no major problems - Can highly recommended them as a very good sports all-rounder (but not for commuting or rev freaks) They are also very simple machines to work on, from your Basic Maintenance to Major stuff if you have a garage and appropriate tools.
Mine will be FOR SALE very soon, as i'm changing tact career wise and relocating to pastures new.
ANYONE INTERESTED?????????????
Cheers JR.
