I don't recall Krispy Kreme ever making an 'R' so why are you interested?

:frog:

And they only made 200 more than the 996R. I think they were just so proud that they had managed to build an even better bike than the glorious 996R that they had to show off!

The ultimate bike in the ultimate shape ;)

:smug:

Ducati tried to cash in on the popularity of the hand-built, limited edition 996R, by producing a not-so limited run of 998Rs.

They just used the 998R to test some of the components of the new 999 engines before they squeezed them into the 999 ;)

Go for the 996R - you and she will be much more appreciative.

Tim:frog:

This is just because I was quicker on Tuesday isn't it!

I seem to remember that you did come past me on Tuesday, but you also went past the edge of the track and into the dirt at the same time. ;) You then feinged some "kill-switch" incident when you struggled to keep up!!! :)

You passed me once properly, then misjudged the track to pass me then, then I went past you. He who laughs last!!!! (thinks slowest!!) ;)

Gentlemen,

I'm sure we all agree they're both great bikes (and far nicer than any of those Legoland type R's):lol:
