In typical Ducati fashion, I don't think that the factory realised how important an icon Falappa was, so they didn't keep any of his old bikes. When they discovered that they needed to represent his achivements in the museum, they put Falappa painted/stickered bodyword on one of Doug Polens 1992 bikes. A few of his other bikes are claimed to be in these collections, but I haven't been able to get any information on them. http://www.ducati.com/racing/home_ne...l?newsId=17799 http://www.supershowevents.com/swt/roadshow/cm02-3.html http://www.saltarellimoto.it/saltarelliPAGEing.html This guy did a great replica: http://www.studiopixel.it/ducatone/ Brian |
