#21 on a Ducati !!!! A winning combination for 2006 ;) |

Or will he keep 12 now he's ridden with it for 3 years? I hope he does :D |
I think Lanzi will kick his arse if he's allowed to. No more special tyres, so he's got to get to grips with things fast. Look at ex GP riders in the WSB paddock that have done nothing at all this year. |

Ducati MUST win WSB in 2006, but ... ... Corse knew they were up against it in 2005 and tried to get Bayliss to lead the charge with Hodgson as No2 - neither would have it. 2006 IMHO is going to be even harder now the IL4s are finally sorted and Troy - much as I love him - is in it for only one thing - to look after his family. The playing field, so long in Ducati's favour is not that way anymore. 1000cc 4s against twins is no contest really. Toseland with Honda will be on a mission. Haga has finally sorted the Yamaha. Corser and Suzuki are pretty near perfect over a season. Pirelli can't make a tyre that works for a V twin as well as the hords of 4s ... GOD I'm depressed already :( |

Er..............how many races did the 999 win this year in WSB? With proper tyres it won the BSB against 2yrs worth of sorted GSXR, a big bang R1, and the manic zx10, not least the mighty HRC and Michelins...... Your right the playing field was so biased for the old shape, but facts is facts!:D;) |
Personally i think Bayliss is such a yesterday move! Id have gone for Lavilla into factory WSB with lanzi. He knows the bike, the tracks, on a crest of a wave,......even Pirellis are nearly getting there..........:o |

... yer right, but the 999 didn't win the championship. Look how many BSB wins HRC got with the Blade and they didn't win either. This one tyre rule is really hurting Ducati in WSB. |
It is about consistancy........... |
You just don't get it!!!! In BSB they can alter a tyre to suite riders and bikes needs. WSB they have got to alter the bike. Hodgy really only won WSB on the 999 because Michelin provided him with a tyre the could give him the feel from the front that the 999 couldn't. [Edited on 15-10-2005 by Jon] |
