Do we need a reason???

Thought this thread was about the attack on bikers???
It's not just the women that drop the kids off @ kerb side...fathers are just as big a culprit, yacking on mobile phones taking care of business meetings, whilst carrying two or more kids in the back!
Perhaps if ALL fathers had to take on as much responsibility as the mums...You know, shopping, doing their packed lunches, ironing their clothes, getting them dressed in the morning, checking that they have all their school kit and lunch money, whilst having to hold down a full time job and wondering what to cook him indoors for dinner that evening (which I am sure you all do because you are all such wonderful husbands, fathers and partners)...we wouldn't have women careering round like headless chickens and driving around dangerously.

Can we chuffing get back on topic instead of ****ging off women...I'm afriad you need us...You have no choice...we have no choice
:mad::mad::mad:

I rest my case :lol::lol::lol:

Errrr....I don't quite see your point?

The MCN article was taking issue with a road safety charity called BRAKE who have put out an unsubstantiated claim that bikes are more likely to kill children on our roads.

The MCN editorial column seems to me to be a well balanced summary.

and drrrr...... why print this dribble:puzzled:

How many 20mph limits have you seen around town 200m either side of a school?

I dont know where I read it but the Transport department kicked the 20mph outside schools into touch saying it would impede the flow of traffic and the public wouldnt accept the congestion.
so its not about safety then as if we didnt already know, but they didnt mind banning offroad activitys.

Tell you where there is a 20mph zone now though that used to be a GLF.

Go out of Keswick on the lakeside road towards Borrowdale and out to Honister Pass. From just out of town (30mph!!!)to the end of Borrowdale is now 20mph because of the 'ramblers'.
It is even more dangerous now than it was when the national limit was in force. Reason, the stupid idiots think they are quiet safe walking down the middle of the country lane instead of in the verge where they were before. You go round a blind bend to be met by Dennis and Ethel Trampalong and 30 of their brethern blithly and blindly walking up the middle of the lane.
Bl00dy bananas man! :flame:
