Have done likewise, cos Tim said so!

But to share my thoughts...
All UK rounds - points
Assen - Prizes - I'll volunteer a tenner for the prize pot too.

I don't know between what and what I must choose... What's sure is that I would prefer not to start at Cadwell in March. I'd be happy with Brands as a first round.

Wasnt there a vote in October about when the series was to start?:puzzled:

and to echo NBs:

UK = points scoring

Assen = cash prizes

also to add:
Snetterton: 2 usual races on one day, lose the long race.

Have just emailed DD to indicate thoughts about points (again) and also about Snett

A & C:)

Yes Charlotte - there was a vote as to when the series should start - and a very significant majority of riders didn't want to start until Brands Hatch in April. However, the opportunity arose to have a round at Cadwell and there was a view that, particularly given there will be a mixture of new novices and those that competed last year, it may be useful for those that wanted to to go out and play at Cadwell (bear in mind that the same event at Cadwell last year was abandoned due to the weather conditions). By making it non-scoring, there is no 'compulsion' for the majority that voted against racing there that early in the year.

As to Assen and a long race - again, both of these have already been voted on and again the majority of riders wanted both to go ahead (and the reason for the race discard was purely for Assen (there would be no reason for a discard for the UK races in the same way that there was no reason for a discard this year)).

What is the point of revisiting these things again and again - the riders (including the majority that are not regular board visitors) have already voted on all these subjects.

Hi Lizzie, I hear what you are saying - we did vote on the start for racing - hence why I mentioned it in my earlier post:)

Got no records here of any vote for a long race tho - and have been asking about removing points from Assen, since I heard there was a limit for the numbers on the grid.

As Alan & I dont ride (but own both bikes), we go on the information we & our 2 riders feel is best at the time.

Happy with the whole lot as is. Love the idea of a 3 race weekend, don't really want a points scoring race when there's a bloody good chance of ice, and I think the Assen round should be points scoring (both because it'll ensure a decent grid, and it'll keep the race agressive). After all we'd hate to look like a bunch of limp-wristed british woofters... :lol:

On the other hand - tis practice and god knows I need it :D

Full weekend at Snet not my idea of fun but i'll go back there before racing to put some ghosts away.

Roll on March
