I'd have to agree with Andy. Look for the newest bike you can get for the money. You'll always end up spending more on bling and accessories, its inevitable. I wouldn't say that a 52 reg bike with 6500 miles for £6k is a good deal at all...shop around, and don't rush into the first bike that takes your fancy. With the ever decreasing number of new bikes being registered, I'm sure a friendly dealer will want to help you walk away with a brand new bike, and you could find a cheap way to finance the extra grand needed? |
the 749s models, especially the earlier ones, do have issues with stalling. I this is one of those then you might want some kind of warranty. |

The '03 749S has the non-hotted up motor i.e. the same as the current base 749 and 749 Dark. It won't have the stalling issues the later bikes have. |
