I am very, very happy with it.Philthy,we concentrated alot on the bottom end,to try and get it to pull smoothly from the lower revs.Felix, you are welcoem to a go.Just need to bung that rear brake caliper on it,when you've finished!Mr R.,standard SP5 except Spaghetti, lightened flywheel and power commander.

nice curves - hope mines as healthy and doesn't pop...
btw would you advise any running in period for what will effectively be a new motor or just go for it ???

Rob B 19-Apr-2006 09:24

Just threw mine straight on the dyno, what about you, Rich?

Jasper 19-Apr-2006 09:54

Unlike Neils, mine wasn't a new motor. So,just warmed her up and on she went!

That is a superb torque curve - textbook even. :D

I videoed the top gear run,but don't know how to post a video.

Hmmmm, nice, on the strength of that I'll buy you a beer when we get to the 888 meet up at Nelly's.

And while we're down the pub I'll bribe Nelly to swap your motor into my bike.

Jasper 19-Apr-2006 12:21

Your all heart,Jools.

Jasper 19-Apr-2006 13:34

Would you believe it.Went out to the garage, with a view to riding the bike today. Two pools of oil under each fork leg. Both fork seals have gone!!They were weaping a little before the dyno run,but that seems to have pushed them a little too far.Ordered some seals from JHP,.now going to strip the forks down!!:(
