welcome! I went from gixxer to duc 749 as well... and am very happy, now 18 months later... make mine a Corona... cold! :D |
Ok great. Yeah im just down the road from Taunton really - i will keep an eye out for the south west rides - sounds like it could be a good laugh. I did want the 749R - but the missus went nuts when i tried to spend 11,000 on it - and i got a good deal on the 749 so what the hell. Hopefully i should get it back with a working ecu :D (once they work out what is wrong with it - it keeps deleting the error codes). Happy days :) Jason |
:puzzled: Don't worry,it's called character!I'll have a Gin & Tonic with Lime please:D [Edited on 15-5-2006 by swannymere] |
Actually before I forget - where can i get a decent carbon hugger from - iwant to keep the shock and exhaust in good nick, dont want anything too expensive just needs to look nice! Also did people stick to the run in rules? - most of my other inline 4's I have always had the attitude - if its gonna be thrashed, you may as well start as you mean to go on. |
:D eBay is your friend, lots of bargains if you're patient, check prices first from a dealer as some muppets regularly pay more second-hand than new:eureka: |
