Mate, congratulations on your win - you've raced hard and always wanted to win, despite the **** you sometimes spout ;)

You've set the standard for the 583 class and I've always been impressed by your focus and determination.

Well done, you deserve all the plaudits.

You've done it your own way and you've taken the championship - excellent work Phil.

I remember at the start of the season at Brands in the wet watching you change down at the bottom of Paddock Hill for the climb up to Druids - you were the only rider to do that. I thought then that you were bringing a different way of riding to the series, thinking hard and trying new ideas.
