keefy keefy keefy <shakes head> you really should get your bollux right, as anyone here will tell you (cos they are all old like you too;) ) that it all stems from the avid jealousy that the Norton Dominator caused amongst biking chums when it first came out ooooohh so many years ago....... C, off to paint her nails:) |

Age 996 Know how you feel! |
Age Give us a report after 2/3,000 miles, you should have a good idea what they are like to own/ride by then. Have been thinking about swopping the 996 for either the 750 or r1. |
Very nice :) Rode a K5 a few times, really nice medium between the 600 and 1000. The only bike I'd have other than my ZX6 :) |

Nice bike ;) I have already left the fold and bought an 06 Blade in black :) Got fed up waiting for ducati :( Was hoping to go for the new 1200 in 07 , but iam not going to buy the stop gap 1099 !!!!! |
Just speaking about this on yesterdays ride out. Best bikes if you couldn't buy a Ducati were reckoned to be a GSXR 750, a Trumpet 675 for hooning or a Moto Guzzi Griso for a lazy jaunt out for a pub lunch. On the other hand.... I rode a Multistrada for the first time yesterday. In the real world, on real roads, do you really need more than 85-100 bhp delivered in a grunty, torquey way? I rode the Melton-Colsterworth road yesterday on my own and didn't see many other bikes, but there are two fireblades and an R6 riding in a group that know the answer to that one |

Sentiments i can agree with................... R1's rule, they are the choice of real riders.........as long as they are RED Phil |
